Located on the dale of the left bank of the Rhône, halfway between Martigny and Sion, the La Tzoumaz ski resort is part of the 4 Vallées ski area. This ski area is considered to be one of the largest in Europe. La Tzoumaz is a Swiss ski resort that offers very enjoyable ski-related activities. Skiers can be heliported to the Petit-Combin or to the Rosablanche for a pure descent on powder snow. Sledge lovers can go down the exceptionnal 10km long sledge slope. To access this slope you will need to take a cable car to get to Savoleyres at 2354m, and also slide down an 848m vertical drop to the bottom of the resort at 1506m. Cross-country fans can follow the Bisse de Saxon-La Tzoumaz, Forêt des Etablons and La Tzoumaz-Savoleyres trails. La Tzoumaz has a permanent boardercross on the Taillay slope where snowboarders can enjoy the fun of the mountains !
